    Released in 1998, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is one of the classic romantic drama films that revolves around three college friends – Rahul, Anjali and Tina. The writer of the movie is Karan Johar, who is a renowned filmmaker, screenwriter, costume designer, television personality and producer in the Indian film industry.

    The Koffee with Karan host is known for his exceptional storytelling skills and has given some of the biggest hits in Bollywood, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is one of the most famous works. It is also the first movie that he has directed.

    The film starred Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukerji in lead roles. The Padma Shri filmmaker is the owner of one of the biggest production houses of the Indian Film Industry, Dharma Productions. Karan Johar has hosted many shows on television which include Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and India’s Got Talent.

    Kuch Kuch Hota hai was a massive commercial success and won several awards, including eleven Filmfare awards. The film became a cultural phenomenon and influenced fashion, music and pop culture in India. It received critical acclaim for its storyline, performances and songs as well.
