    “Desperate To Be With You” poem by Biswadeep Ghosh Hazra poignantly captures the heartache of separation and the intense longing for a loved one. Through expressive language and vivid imagery, the poem delves into the depths of love, yearning, and the unyielding hope of reunion.

    Desperate To Be With You

    It’s hard to illustrate; how you kept me in your wait…
    And I without any hate; standing there dripping wet,
    In the rain;

    I thought you were coming; at least my heart thought so…
    Never (ever) I thought in my dreams, that you would let me go,
    And that’s why I’m standing alone…

    Singing a sad, sad song; come back to me…it won’t take long,
    To see you smile in pain, my heart cries out in vain,
    I reach my hand to you;

    But distance separates us, miles and miles apart…
    I am desperate to be with you, trying hard to make the distance smaller…

    But still I feel you are right there somewhere;
    Somewhere within my body, my heart, my soul,
    You are a part of me…and so,
    I’m desperate to be with you…
