    There are umpteen benefits of reading books. It is the best activity for mental health. In this electronic era, people have reduced their reading. They are more inclined toward social media, smartphones, TV etc. However, it makes them mentally weaker and slower. So, in this article, we will share 5 reasons why you should read books. These are some of the many benefits of reading books.

    1. Builds Vocabulary

    There is no better way to enhance vocabulary than reading books. When you read books, you learn new words, synonyms, antonyms, idioms, phrases and a lot more. It will make your knowledge of words super strong.

    Knowledge is infinite. To gain wisdom, scholars read tomes written by classic writers. Books are not only a source of entertainment but also a journey towards intelligence. It increases a person’s mastery like anything.
