The author of one of the most successful books, Eleven Minutes, is Paulo Coelho, a renowned Brazilian author. Though his ‘The Alchemist’ is the most successful novel, Eleven Minutes is also one of his highly well-received books among the readers.

Published in 2003, Paulo Coelho’s Eleven Minutes delves into the complexities of love, relationships, and the pursuit of personal fulfilment. Some of the important themes explored in the novel are themes of sexuality, love, and the search for meaning in life.

Born in 1947, Coelho’s writing style is both lyrical and introspective, as the author delves into the inner thoughts and emotions of his characters. The novel tells the story of Maria, a young girl from a small Brazilian village who dreams of finding true love and has a complete relationship.

Her journey takes her to Geneva where she gets into the profession of prostitute and learns the complexities of human relationships, desires and a lot more. Eleven Minutes has been praised for its bold and raw portrayal of love and sexuality. The book also sprinkles deep philosophical insights here and there. Paulo Coelho has solidified the author’s reputation as one of the most influential authors of all time.
