We all wish to go to heaven, don’t we? But we have so many assumptions about heaven and how it looks. The concept of heaven and hell is something we all are aware of; however, Mitch Albom’s perception is heartwarming and heartbreaking equally.

What if you meet 5 people in heaven? What do you think whom would we meet? The Five People You Meet in Heaven is a book that makes us meet with Eddie, an 83-year-old man who dies on his 83rd birthday while trying to save a girl.

The story follows his past life and the afterlife in heaven, where he meets 5 people and gets 5 invaluable lessons. Mitch Albom is a master storyteller who knows how to touch hearts with his simple writing style.

The book teaches us the idea of life and death, especially life after death. Our deeds and small acts in life matter a lot. All the individuals Eddie meets in his afterlife are those who dig deep into his life and make him understand their impact on his life.

The Five People You Meet in Heaven talks about sacrifice, love, life, anger, purpose and a lot more in the simplest manner. It is another of Mitch Albom’s masterpieces. This book would make you understand the importance of life and all the small acts we do in life value a lot.
