Saturn is considered one of the most important and powerful planets in Indian astrology. Also known as Shani, the planet is associated with hard work, discipleship, and karma. Most people get scared listening to the name of the planet Saturn, which is because it is like a strict teacher who wants his students to just work hard.

In Vedic astrology, Saturn is considered a malefic planet, which means it can bring challenges and obstacles. On the other hand, it is also called a planet of justice and balance, benefiting those who work hard and keep their expectations low.

Saturn rules two zodiac signs in Indian astrology: Capricorn and Aquarius. Saturn is exalted in Libra and debilitated in Aries. Its ruling day is Saturday, and the ruling deity is Lord Shani, who is renowned for his strict adherence to justice and discipline.

When a person has a strong position of Saturn in their chart, it gives them a strong sense of discipline and responsibility, as well as making them rich. However, if Saturn is badly placed in a chart, then the person may struggle with feelings of insecurity or lack of direction, and makes them lazy as well.
