Prominent Bangladeshi author and human rights activist Taslima Nasreen has made serious accusations against a doctor at Apollo Hospital in New Delhi, India. Nasreen was undergoing treatment for knee pain when she claims that Dr. Yatinder Kharbanda misdiagnosed her with a hip fracture and performed a total hip replacement without showing her any X-ray or CT scans.

If I die because of the complications of Total Hip Replacement, no one but Dr Kharbanda is responsible. After reaching Apollo hospital with knee pain, he did my THR within a few hrs. It’s still a nightmare. He lied to me about Xray & CT findings.

The author alleges that she was referred to as a “Bangladeshi patient” and not as a doctor or author and that healthy parts of her body were removed. Nasreen has called the experience a “nightmare” and has accused the hospital of medical malpractice and forced treatment. The hospital has offered to assist the author via Twitter, but it is unclear if legal action has been taken.

Hi Tasleema, we understand that this has caused difficulties. We request you share your contact number and email ID via DM to get this checked right away.
