In a fast-paced world where people love spending time on phones and screens, it has become a challenge to find calm moments in life. Meditation is a road to tranquility, mental clarity, and self-awareness. Here is the guide that will provide you with practical steps and insights to add meditation to life.

    Understanding Meditation

Before entering the world of meditation, it is imperative to know meditation is not about emptying your mind or achieving a state of perfection. It is about mental awareness and living in the moment. If one knows what to expect from meditation, then they learn it easily.

    Start with a few minutes

As a beginner, it is better to start meditation with short sessions to make yourself comfortable. One can aim for five minutes of meditation a day and can slowly increase the time. It will help make it a consistent habit as well. If you settle your body and meditate as per your comfort, then you can slowly increase the time of meditation.

    Choose Your Meditation Technique

There are numerous meditation techniques that one can explore. Mindfulness meditation, for example, focuses on one’s breath and observes thoughts.Listening to a recorded session by an experienced guide is another powerful meditation technique to begin with.
