Released in 2004, Lakshya is an emotional war drama that beautifully connects themes of self-discovery, courage, and patriotism. The movie is directed by Farhan Akhtar, and it has left a permanent mark on Indian cinema.

The writer of the movie Lakshya is none other than Javed Akhtar, one of the finest poets, lyricists, and screenwriters of the Hindi film industry. Born in 1945, Akhtar is known for writing movies like Deewar, Sholay, Zanjeer, and many more classics with his partner Salim Khan.

Hrithik Roshan is the lead actor of the film and has played his role exceptionally well. Other than Hrithik, Amitabh Bachchan and Preity Zinta play key roles in the film. Lakshya is considered one of the most inspiring movies.

Even though Lakshya didn’t perform great at the box office, it gained cult popularity later. Songs like ‘Main Aisa Kyun Hoon’, ‘Agar Main Kahoon’, and ‘Lakshya’ are some of the most popular songs of the film and are still popular among audiences.

With its strong writing by Javed Akhtar, engaging performances, and a powerful narrative, Lakshya stands as a testament to the power of good storytelling in cinema.
