The author of the book ‘Who Killed Shastri?’ is Vivek Agnihotri, a renowned face in the Indian film industry. Agnihotri is not only known for his directorial ventures like The Kashmir Files and The Vaccine War but also as the author of the thought-provoking book ‘Who Killed Shastri?’.

Born in 1973, Vivek Agnihotri has gained a lot of popularity for his bold storytelling and eagerness to cover controversial topics. He has also been in the news for his controversial remarks in his interviews or on social media.

In Who Killed Shastri?, Agnihotri meticulously researches the circumstances surrounding Shastri’s death in Tashkent in 1966. The book raises serious questions about the events that conspired before and after the death of the former Prime Minister of India, Lal Bahadur Shastri.
