Stories have an extraordinary ability to connect us. They cross borders, generations, cultures, and experiences. They entertain us, challenge us, comfort us, and sometimes help us see the world—and ourselves—a little differently. This spirit of connection is at the heart of The RV Book Fair 2026, returning for its fifth edition from September 19–30.
Created by Relatable Media, The RV Book Fair has grown into a celebration of authors, readers, creativity, and meaningful conversation. Rather than focusing only on books, the fair gives audiences an opportunity to meet the people behind the pages and discover the experiences, ideas, and inspiration that shape their work.
This year’s program brings together authors from different genres and backgrounds for a diverse collection of conversations. Throughout the fair, panels explore subjects ranging from fantasy, fiction, romance, and children’s literature to storytelling, acting, audio, wellness, healing, and the creative process.
Among the featured conversations are Creating Worlds, Acting, Audio & Storytelling, Inspiring Young Minds, Living Well, The Power of Story, Writing Fiction, Writing Fantasy, Healing Through Writing, and Romance in All Its Forms. Each discussion offers a different perspective, yet they share a common thread: the power of stories to create connection.
One of the most rewarding aspects of The RV Book Fair is hearing authors speak beyond the pages of their books. What inspired a character? Where did an idea begin? What happens when writing becomes part of a healing journey? How do writers create imaginary worlds that readers believe in? And what keeps an author going when the creative process becomes difficult?
These conversations remind us that behind every finished book is a journey filled with imagination, persistence, vulnerability, and countless decisions.
The 2026 fair also welcomes guest speakers who share short inspirational messages with our audience, adding another dimension to the event and reinforcing its mission of encouraging writers, readers, and creatives.
Hosted by Lucia Matuonto and author Pat Backley, the fair maintains the warm, conversational approach that has become a hallmark of Relatable Media. The goal is not simply to conduct interviews, but to create genuine conversations where guests can share their personalities, experiences, challenges, and passions.
This year’s reach extends across the Relatable Media family. The panels will also be featured on WorldAuthors.org, while participating authors and speakers are celebrated through The Relatable Voice Magazine and Relatable Media’s digital platforms.
As we celebrate our fifth edition, we are also reminded of how much The RV Book Fair has evolved. What began as an idea to create another space where authors could be seen and heard has developed into an international gathering of voices and stories.
And perhaps that is what makes a book fair truly special.
Books may begin with one person sitting somewhere and writing words on a page, but their journey doesn’t end there. A story reaches a reader. That reader shares it with someone else. A conversation begins. Connections are created between people who may live thousands of miles apart and might otherwise never have met.
For nearly two weeks this September, The RV Book Fair 2026 celebrates those connections.
We invite you to meet the authors, discover new books, listen to inspiring conversations, and perhaps find a story you didn’t know you needed.
Because when we bring stories together, we bring people together too.
Welcome to The RV Book Fair 2026.
