On September 13, 2024, the Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Landran, in collaboration with WorldAuthors.Org, successfully hosted a comprehensive resume writing workshop titled WorldAuthors.Org Prep Talk – Building a Professional Profile. This event, organized by the Department of Science and Computing, was designed to equip students with essential skills for crafting effective resumes.

With NAAC A+ accreditation, NIRF, NBA, ARIIA, IIC, and other prestigious rankings, the institute stands as one of the most sought-after educational institutions in Northern India. CGC Landran is dedicated to providing students with a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experience, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience.
The workshop was led by Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Diversity Ace Business Consulting, Deepali Gulati, a seasoned workshop coach. Over the course of approximately 90 minutes, she shared valuable insights into various types of resumes and provided practical tips for creating impactful and effective resumes.
The session was conducted under the supervision of Seema Bidla, a faculty member specializing in film and video creation and editing. Her guidance ensured the smooth execution of the event. Student coordinator Parabhnoor Singh Mehra played a crucial role in facilitating the workshop, ensuring the event was well-organized and efficiently managed.

Gaurav Gulati, Founder of WorldAuthors.Org and a personal branding & brand engagement consultant, also addressed the students, offering essential advice on personal branding and profile enhancement. His insights helped students understand the importance of a well-crafted professional profile. Gulati ended the event with special thanks to Dr. Kapil Mehta, Professor & Head of the Department of Science and Computing, Ph.D. (CSE-Cyber Security), without whom this event would not have been possible.
The workshop was attended by 122 students, who received certificates of participation from WorldAuthors.Org. Additionally, momentos were presented to Gaurav Gulati and Deepali Gulati by Dr. Kapil Mehta, in recognition of their contributions.
The students were notably attentive and engaged throughout the session, reflecting the professionalism and enthusiasm that CGC Landran fosters.
