The sixth avatar among the Dashavatara of Lord Vishnu, Parashurama ji is also referred to as Rama Jamadagnya, Rama Bhargava, and Virarama. One of the prominent gods in Hinduism, Lord Parashurama ji is known for his warrior Brahmin identity and his role in upholding dharma. He is revered as the Chiranjeevi, who is still alive and awaiting the arrival of Kalki, the final avatar of Vishnu. Here is the Parashurama Pranama Mantra:
ॐ नमः परशुहस्ताय नमः कोदण्डधारिणे।
नमस्ते रुद्ररूपाय विष्णवे वेदमूर्तये॥
Om Namah Parashuhastaya Namah Kodandadharine
Namaste Rudrarupaya Vishnave Vedamurtaye
There are many benefits of praying to Lord Parashurama and chanting the Parashurama Pranama Mantra. If a devotee recites the mantra with full devotion, then the lord Parashurama gives the devotee protection from poverty, strengthens bravery, and fulfills vows. It also ignites the masculine side, promoting taking a stand against injustice. If you are a bhakt of Lord Parashurama, then you must chant the Parashurama Pranama Mantra regularly.
