Ukrainian DJ and producer Miss Monique makes her debut on Three Six Zero as she teams up with vocalist Poppy Baskcomb on new track “Rain” which the pair debuted at UNVRS Ibiza as Miss Monique supported David Guetta at his weekly Galactic Circus party.
As she prepares to sign off on a milestone summer that has included her debut Ibiza residency at the world’s #1 club, Hi, Miss Monique is riding a significant momentum that continues with the release of “Rain” – a signature dancefloor cut that is infused with the haunting emotion of Poppy Baskcomb’s inimitable vocals.
Released 19th September on Three Six Zero, “Rain” is built on the ethereal melodies that Miss Monique expertly weaves throughout her sets – driving, punchy synths underpin an explosive bassline, but it is Poppy’s heartfelt lyrics that elevate the production to a higher level: “For me, this song is the sound of grief turning into acceptance. It’s sad, but it’s also about finding peace in letting go” she explains; a visceral expression of emotion that consumes dancefloors and fills festival arenas, making this a standout in Miss Monique’s sets this summer.

Miss Monique’s sets at iconic festivals including Coachella, Tomorrowland, Mysterland, Ultra Miami, and EDC Vegas are cultural flashpoints for a sound that she continues to broadcast to her millions of fans across YouTube, Spotify and social media; a dedicated audience who are as invested in her journey as she is. As a producer, official remixes for Madonna, Moby, and David Guetta are backed up by the growing significance of Siona Records – her imprint that has become a key hub for platforming emerging talent across melodic house and techno, and progressive house music.
For Poppy Baskcomb, her work with Tiesto, ANYMA, and MEDUZA has put her on the map as the go-to vocalist across melodic house and techno; an artist whose powerful lyrics can take any production to the next level. With new solo music en route, alongside her work with Sub Focus, Friction, and Sonny Fodera, “Rain” is symbolic of her versatile style and song writing capabilities.
An ambitious release that pairs two of dance music’s biggest talents – “Rain” is out now via Three Six Zero.
