Tahereh Mafi, the bestselling author behind the popular “Shatter Me” series, is set to release a brand-new book titled “Watch Me.” This book, which is the first in a spinoff series, will be available on April 15, 2025. The story takes place 10 years after the events of “Imagine Me,” the final book in the original series, and introduces readers to two new main characters.
“Shatter Me,” which was first published in 2011, quickly became a favorite among readers, especially on TikTok, where the series has over 250,000 posts under the hashtag #shatterme. With more than 10 million copies sold worldwide and translated into 33 different languages, the series has impacted the young adult genre.
In a recent Instagram post, Tahereh Mafi shared her excitement about writing a spinoff series in the Shatter Me universe. She announced the upcoming release of her new book, Watch Me, set for April 2025, with both a standard and deluxe edition available for pre-order. Mafi expressed her love for the deluxe edition, noting its stunning holographic edges, which she described as “extraordinary.”
Though she didn’t reveal too much about the plot, she assured fans that the new book will feature familiar characters from the original series, while also standing alone for new readers. Besides this, Mafi confirmed that her Woven Kingdom series is still ongoing, with the fourth book scheduled for next year. She’ll be publishing two books per year for both series, and she expressed deep gratitude to her fans for their continued support.
