Born in 1917, Sidney Sheldon was an American author renowned for crime and thriller novels. He was one of the few authors in the world who sold more than 250 million books. The American writer won an Oscar in 1948 for writing the comedy film The Bachelor and the Bobby-soxer. Here are the three reasons one must read Sidney Sheldon:

    1. Gripping Plots

Sidney Sheldon’s books are filled with suspense, intrigue, and unexpected twists and turns that keep the readers engrossed like anything. His mastery over storytelling intrigues the interest of the readers from the first page to the last.

    2. Timeless Appeal

Even though the novels were written several decades ago, Sidney Sheldon’s books have a timeless quality that continues to connect with the readers today all over the world. The themes of his novels are still relevant in today’s world.

    3. Memorable Characters

Sidney Sheldon’s characters are multidimensional and believable because they can be vulnerable as well as powerful as per the story. Kate Blackwell and Jennifer Parker are some of the best examples. Sheldon creates complex characters that connect with readers easily and stay with them after they finish the book.
